Lincoln Lifetime Income Edge Rider Changes

The Income rider (Lifetime Income Edge) on the Lincoln indexed annuity product line has been one of the best riders available for the past few months.  I guess the adage that all good things come to an end is true in this case as well. Although still very competitive, Lincoln no longer has such an edge on the other carriers.  The rider still guarantees 5% compound per year, but the income factors (payout percentages) are being reduced slightly.  This rider still has the increased payout for the nursing home benefit.  See graph below for details:
